Mike's Notes
I personally went over this Tiguan when it came into our lot here on Acoma Street, and it's a solid little SUV with a Colorado story I really like — the last owner brought it up from Florida in early 2024 and drove it modestly around Denver ever since. The CARFAX shows consistent VW dealer service throughout its life, including a full pre-delivery workup at Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Seminole County in 2023 that included four new tires, all four brakes, and a fresh battery, plus routine oil changes at Tynan's VW in Aurora. There is a minor cosmetic damage report from December 2024 to the right rear/right side — I looked it over carefully and it's exactly what CARFAX described: light cosmetic stuff, no structural issues and no airbag deployment. I love that this one has the roof-edge spoiler, factory roof rack, and paint protection film added from new — great practical upgrades for someone hauling ski gear or bikes up to the mountains. There's an open VW safety recall on the steering rack-to-subframe mounting connection (remedy not yet available from VW), so I'll make sure the buyer has all that info to take to any authorized Volkswagen dealer once the fix is released. For a 4MOTION Tiguan with Apple CarPlay, heated mirrors, and a turbocharged drivetrain at this mileage, this is a genuinely smart buy for Denver drivers.
