Mike's Notes
I personally inspected this Sierra 1500 SLE and there's a lot to like here for the money. The big story: the automatic transmission was fully replaced by AAMCO back in 2024 at around 84,886 miles — so you're essentially getting a truck with a very young transmission under it, which is a huge peace-of-mind item on a used half-ton. Service history on this truck is genuinely impressive, with 23 documented records including regular oil changes, brake work, and even the vacuum pump replacement done by a GMC dealer. CARFAX shows one minor front-left cosmetic incident reported in May 2026 — nothing structural, no airbag deployment — and the truck presents very well overall. The 5.3L V8 pulls strong, the 4x4 system engages smoothly, and the HID headlights and EZ-Lift tailgate are the kind of daily-driver perks that make this Crew Cab a pleasure to own.
