Mike's Notes
I personally went through this 2011 Sportage LX, and for a Colorado-owned AWD SUV in this price range, it's a solid little workhorse. Both previous owners lived right here in Colorado, and the CARFAX shows 19 service records — a ton of consistent maintenance at Fisher Auto in Boulder, including regular oil changes, alignments, brake checks, and the 30K and 45K mile services done on schedule. I also like that the open recall items have a clear path — Kia covers the HECU fuse and anti-theft updates free of charge at any Kia dealer, and the starter and fuse block were already replaced in late 2024. There are a couple of minor damage notes and one minor fender-bender on the history (no airbag deployment), but everything cosmetically presents well and drives straight and tight. With the Convenience Package, 17-inch alloys, AWD, and the proven 2.4L four-cylinder getting 28 MPG highway, this is a genuinely practical Denver runabout that can still handle a snowy trip to Loveland or Eldora without breaking a sweat.
